Ye, you can launch your micro-entreprise while receiving unemployment benefits. Pôle emploi offers two main support options:

🧾 Option 1: ARE (Aide au Retour à l’Emploi)

You continue receiving your monthly unemployment payments even after starting your business.

  • 💰 Your benefit amount may be reduced based on your monthly revenue.

  • 🔁 You must continue your monthly declaration on pole-emploi.fr.

  • ✅ You remain eligible as long as you’re registered as a job seeker.

💸 Option 2: ARCE (Lump-Sum Business Grant)

You receive 45% of your remaining unemployment entitlements, paid in two installments:

  • 50% when you launch your business

  • 50% six months later (if the business is still active)

⚠️ Important: with ARCE, you no longer receive monthly unemployment payments.

📌 Conditions to access ARE or ARCE

You must:

  • Be registered as a job seeker

  • Have remaining unemployment rights

  • Select “Yes” to ACRE (reduced social contributions) during registration
